The postage stamp "Bibi and Tina" was ranked second in the survey for the most beautiful stamp issued by the German Post in 2021.
From January 19 to February 9, 2022, Deutsche Post conducted a public opinion poll to find out which stamps released in 2021 were the most loved and popular. 32 thousand people took part in the poll, it was possible to vote both offline and online through the mail website.
This survey is being held for the second year and, as it turned out, German mail customers have a clear weakness for the characters of children's programs and cartoons and, in general, for colorful stamps.
In total, 52 postage stamps were issued by the German Post in 2021. The winner by a wide margin was a bright stamp dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the popular children's television program "Mouse Transfers". And the honorable second place was taken by the brand "Bibi and Tina", released on December 2, 2021 in honor of the children's radio play of the same name. According to the Deutsche Post, 63% of survey participants said that stamp plots are an important criterion when buying stamps, while only 10% of those surveyed collect stamps on a regular basis.
