On July 15, 2019, the Post of Paraguay issued a series of “Horses” stamps dedicated to the Quarter Horse breed.
The Quarter Horse breed is one of the most popular horse breeds in America. It is well known both as a racehorse and for its performance in rodeos, horse shows and as a working ranch horse. The Quarter Horse are obedient in character, they quickly learn, and these horses also have high endurance and are well adapted to long-term monotonous tasks.
The name Quarter Horse came from its ability to outdistance other horse breeds in races of a quarter mile or less; some have been clocked at speeds up to 55 mph (88.5 km/h)
The presentation of the new series of postage stamps took place at the headquarters of the Paraguayan Association of Quarter Mile (APCM), which is located in the building of the Rural Association of Paraguay (ARP).

In response, Luis Fernando Servin Coleman, General Director of the National Post Office of Paraguay, replied that it was a great honor for the post to distribute beautiful stamps that depict Quarter Horse.
