On June 30, 2023, the Moldovan Post issued the "Sport" series, consisting of 2 postage stamps. To reveal the theme, the Moldovan Post chose rather unusual sports disciplines: equestrian sports and aeronautics. The postage stamp with a face value of 3.30 lei under the general name "Hipism" depicts dressage competitions. When creating the stamp, designer Eugeniu Verebceanu used a photograph of Oxana Darii on a horse named Pegasus. |
