Beauty of Poland: Lubelskie

On April 28, 2023, the Poland Post issued a minisheet dedicated to the Lublin Voivodeship in the series "The Beauty of Poland".

This year's philatelic edition introduces us to the sights of the Lublin region. Picturesquely located between the Vistula and the Bug, it attracts with the beauty of both natural and man-made monuments.

The Roztochansky National Park is one of the largest in the territory of the Lublin Voivodeship. In 1982 the park started a breeding program for Polish Konik. This is a local Polish breed of medium-sized horses, which, when bred, was greatly influenced by tarpans (which disappeared in the wild in the 19th century).
