850th Anniversary of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia
On October 14, 2025, the Italian Post Office issued a postage stamp in honor of the 850th anniversary of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. The stamp depicts a fragment of the traditional Italian gonfalon - the coat of arms of Unimore University - with an image of San Geminiano on horseback. He is considered the heavenly protector and patron of the city and University of Modena. |
