For youth 2022. Year of memory of Sandor Petőfi

On March 4, 2022, the Hungarian Post issued a minisheet in honor of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the famous Hungarian poet Sandor Petőfi.

Sandor Petofi was born in Kishkörös on January 1, 1823. He was a poet, revolutionary, national hero and one of the most famous and prominent figures in Hungarian literature. In honor of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the poet, 2022-2023 is named the year of memory of Sandor Petofi. To commemorate this event, the Hungarian Post issued a mini sheet of 4 stamps with illustrations for the famous poem "János vitéz" ("John the Valiant")
