Flags of Croatia
On June 5, 2023, the Croatian Post issued a series of postage stamps "Flags of Croatia". The flag, along with the coat of arms, is the main symbol of any state. 2023 marks the 175th anniversary of the first official use of the Croatian tricolor. The new series consists of two postage stamps, they clearly and concisely demonstrate the history of the Croatian flag. On the stamp with the historical flag, a fragment of the lithograph “Entry of Ban Josip Jelacic into Zagreb on June 4, 1848” is used as a background image. |
