75 years of the liberation of Belgium in 1944
On October 21, 2019, Belgium Post issued a miniature sheet in honor of the 75th anniversary of the country's liberation during World War II. Historical photographs taken in Belgium in 1944 were used for the postage stamps by designer Chris Demi. One of them captures the evacuation of residents of the Belgian city of Bastogne during Ardennes operation. |
