The program of the VIII Summer Olympic Games, held in 1924 in Paris, included equestrian polo. The Argentinean team took part in the Olympics for the first time this year. The debut proved to be a success with Argentina taking the gold medal by beating all other nations in their first Olympic polo. Competitions were held from June 28 to July 12 at the castle of Bagatelle and at the St. Cloud Hippodrome. Only 5 equestrian polo teams from the USA, Argentina, Great Britain, France and Spain participated in the Olympics. |
