This year Emperor Maximilian I and his poetic work "Theuerdank", written 500 years ago became the hero of the release in honor of the Day of the postage stamp.
On a stamp issued by the post of Austria on October 6, 2017, a fragment of an engraving by Leonhard Beck, who worked on illustrations for "Theuerdank", was reproduced.
